It was a crystal clear day on the shores of the Chattahoochee River when Danielle and Marc tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family from all over the world in Atlanta, Georgia. This wedding was so special and so wonderful to play a role in!
Ray's on the River is an iconic Atlanta restaurant nestled on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. Every time I have shot a wedding there or attended a party there, the experience has been top notch. Easily, some of the best food I have ever had, and the service and attention to detail at Ray's is exceptional. 10/10 recommend as somewhere to go for dinner or an event!
The skies were clear, the sun was shining, and the first hint of spring flowers abounded in Atlanta that day. We began the day getting ready at a nearby hotel at the Battery (near the Braves Stadium for all of you non-ATLiens). As I headed over to Ray's, Danielle and Marc's family and friends were beginning to gather. I really just can't emphasize enough how wonderful this crowd was. I felt like part of the family by the end of the day, and everyone was so kind and welcoming.
A heartfelt ceremony message delivered by Pastor Ernest was the perfect way to begin this couple's marriage journey. Filled with love, encouragement, and charge to glorify Jesus in their relationship, I enjoyed photographing the vows and exchange of rings. Each ceremony message is special, and I especially loved Ernest's passionate delivery of Danielle and Marc's. The sunny skies were a perfect backdrop to this moment.
The reception was on FIRE! Frankie the DJ had the entire crowd dancing, as we jammed to African-inspired dance music. I couldn't help but dance along with everyone, and loved seeing the guests dance, laugh, sing, and have a great time as the reception continued into the evening. The toasts were heartfelt and inspirational, as their family and friends expressed their love and appreciation for the couple.
The night ended with a beautiful golden-hour sparkler exit, as Danielle and Marc headed to their next destination in a slick ride.
Congratulations Danielle and Marc!! I wish you nothing but the very best as you continue forward as husband and wife. Cheers!
